Much thanks for this &amp;#38; the earlier post about gold sentiment.

I don't like that GDX has been much harder hit than bullion recently.

Also my kicker for liking gold has been ameliorated a little by recent political events.

For weeks Art Cashin was making ominous comments about Ramadan.  It took a little Googling to find out what he was alluding to.  Even recently several other people on CNBC have been making ominous references to possible international events without being specific.  On guard. 
 
The G8 has set a Sept 20 deadline for Iran to come clean with its nuclear program or face serious consequences.
