					<description>[...] My Sunday studies and scans yielded a massive number of Short sale candidates, but the market had gotten hammered pretty hard last week, so I laid off putting in new Short positions this morning. At some point, the sellers might take a breather. If that pullback comes (no telling if it will), then I&amp;#8217;ll position. Technicals look busted in many sectors, but an excellent post by Babak over at Trader&amp;#8217;s Narrative brought out the subject of market breath. Percentage of Stocks Above Moving Averages The chart below shows the percentage of stocks (S&amp;#38;P 500) above their 50 day moving average. As you’ll notice, every time this dips below 20%, we have a buying opportunity on our hands. It can go all the way to zero but it rarely does.
