Babak, Thx for the reference. And don't forget that when September is positive, fourth quarter returns are positive 84% of the time with an an average gain of 4.84% over that time frame. I'll try to update those stats, plus the possible 7-8 in a row next week, given Oct performance.

We will see if Oct can hang on. I'm on record as intermediate bullish, but I'm short in here for a couple of days, I have Oct 22nd, up 7, down 16, unchanged 7. and Thursdays in this kind of trend 7-14-9. The Thursday after October expiration is some kind of ugly, if you put any stock in those kind of stats. The kind of stuff I look at on a daily basis. We may be lucky to get out of Oct with a plus, but will not change intermediate outlook. As you pointed out bullish sentiment needs a shakeup.

We have successfully filled that Tarp Gap from last October, up to 1100. That plus round numbers 1100 and 10000, giving some initial resistance, we may have to regroup a few days before next charge. And then again, we may go straight up next week. Has been a tough market to beat down.
