    Palladium is a key constituent of catalytic converters in automobiles. IF there is an uptick in vehicle production, expect a squeeze in supply as opposed to a glut.

    Alec, frankly I don’t see where the increased demand for autos will come from. The US is maxed out.

    Yes I agree with Babak, the increase in auto sales will take a long time. Although the stock market has had a significant rally, I dont believe the economy will be recovering anytime soon. Look at the charts from the great depression… With that being said, I believe the only squeeze we’ll have in supply soon will be if exports on autos sky rocket and domestic demand also increases… Both unlikely anytime soon.
